Formula De, 23 May 2007
A welcome return to this great old game (almost certainly last played in 2003!). We went for the Spa course and got a 2 lap game in. Weather flipping from sun to rain and back again confounded choice of tyres. Andy's armoured car was most unfortunate to be exploded by Kieron only 5 spaces from the pits. Fate though saw Kieron spinning out on the second lap. Adrian's early lead was eroded by both James and Deej who fought each other to the finish. Good fun.

We started with good intentions as always for a three-lap race, but switched to two-lap about half-way through. I think games should have two play lengths indicated - one if you're just going to play the game, the other (for us) if you're going to chat / tease / anecdote all evening as well!
I rather belatedly recalled that the winner was first over the line, rather than furthest through (like Railway Rivals), which rather deflated the tension between me and David on the finishing straight, but it made up for my other car trailing half a lap behind everyone else all game. It had started in last place on the grid and promptly stalled, and never made much of a dent in the resulting gap. Another fun game.
